Are all your lights weatherproof?
Yes, every light we sell is either IP44 or IP65 weather resistant, meaning rain, hail or shine, they'll be shining bright every day.
If your lights ever stop working, just remember they are backed by our lifetime replacement guarantee. Simply reach out to our support team here if you ever have any issues with your lights.
Where can I use the lights?
Anywhere that gets sunlight during the day. Your backyard, front yard, driveway, veggie patch or any outdoor paths around your home. As long as the solar panel for the lights gets sun during the day, they'll turn on automatically at night.

What happens if the lights stop working?
All SolaGarden lights have a lifetime replacement warranty. If they stop working, just send us an email and we'll replace them free of charge.
What are your best selling lights?
The Festoon lights have been our best sellers for years now. They are brighter and more durable than any other solar festoon lights on the market and our customers love them.
What makes these "upgraded" compared to standard ground lights?
A couple of things. Each light has 8 LED main lights plus 4 side lights, which means a larger, brighter coverage and a lovely added atmosphere across your garden, lawn or walkway. They've also been fitted with a larger 600mAh NiMH battery, so they'll happily run from dusk till dawn after a full charge.
What colour options are available?
These come in warm white and cool white. Warm white gives a softer, cosier glow that's lovely for gardens and entertaining areas, while cool white offers a brighter, crisper light that's great for pathways and visibility. Please note these are the only two colour options we offer for this product.
How tough are they? Can I drive or step on them?
They're seriously durable. Made from engineering PC material, the lights can withstand up to 100kg, so the odd footstep or weight on top is no issue. They're also IP65 waterproof and won't rust, so rain, snow, frost and sleet are all handled, even through winter.
How do I install them, and how do they turn on?
Installation only takes a few seconds. You can attach the non-slip stake to the solar panel and push it into soil, or use the screw and expansion nail to mount them on a flat surface. Once set up, the built-in light sensor takes over, automatically switching the lights on in darkness and off in bright areas. They charge in 6 to 8 hours of sunlight and run for more than 8 hours at full power.
Is there anything I need to do before using them for the first time?
Yes, just one quick step. Before first use, peel off the protective film on the solar panel and flick the switch on. Then position the lights somewhere they'll get maximum sunlight during the day. This makes sure they charge properly and give you the best performance from the get-go.
How quickly do I get my lights after I order?
Once you have placed an order, our team will carefully package your lights and ship them within 24-48 hours. To speed up delivery if your order contains different types of lights, you may sometimes receive them separately so we can get them to you as fast as possible.
Your lights will be sent via Royal Mail, and then they should be safely in your patiently waiting hands within 3-7 business days.
As soon as your order is sent you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us complete with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.
How much do I pay for shipping?
All orders include FREE and fast delivery UK-wide, no matter how many lights you order.
How do I track my order?
After we pass your order to Royal Mail, we will send you a shipping confirmation email which will have a ‘Track Order’ button. This will take you directly to the Royal Mail site so you can follow the live tracking updates!
Haven’t received your shipping confirmation email yet? Check your spam folder too (it may have ended up there).
If I don't like the lights, can I return them?
Sadly, we know that sometimes our SolaGarden lights are just not quite the right fit for some people. You can certainly return your lights to us for a full refund, provided it is returned within 100 days.
*Please note: Not all items are eligible for return. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and / or at checkout. All SolaGarden lights must be returned in as new condition, with any tags and the original box.

Do I have to pay for a return?
We’ve got you covered here too. All eligible returns (for both refunds and exchanges) within the UK will be covered with a free return shipping label that we are happy to organise for you, which means no expenses at the post office!
