Are all your lights weatherproof?
Yes, every light we sell is either IP44 or IP65 weather resistant, meaning rain, hail or shine, they'll be shining bright every day.
If your lights ever stop working, just remember they are backed by our lifetime replacement guarantee. Simply reach out to our support team here if you ever have any issues with your lights.
Where can I use the lights?
Anywhere that gets sunlight during the day. Your backyard, front yard, driveway, veggie patch or any outdoor paths around your home. As long as the solar panel for the lights gets sun during the day, they'll turn on automatically at night.

What happens if the lights stop working?
All SolaGarden lights have a lifetime replacement warranty. If they stop working, just send us an email and we'll replace them free of charge.
What are your best selling lights?
The Festoon lights have been our best sellers for years now. They are brighter and more durable than any other solar festoon lights on the market and our customers love them.
How tough are The Step Lights against the weather?
Very tough. The Step Lights carry an IP67 waterproof rating, which is a step up from your standard outdoor lights, so they can withstand all kinds of weather conditions. Made from high-quality ABS and PP material, they're built to hold up well outdoors over a long period.
What colour light do they give off?
You've got two options to choose from. They come in 3000K, which is a soft warm white that's lovely for a cosy ambience, and 6000K, which is a brighter, cooler white that's great for clear visibility on steps and paths. Each light puts out around 80 to 100 lumens.
How are they powered, and how long do they last each night?
They're fully solar powered, so there's no wiring or mains power needed. Thanks to a high 21% conversion rate, they charge efficiently in just 4 to 5 hours of sunlight and then run for around 8 to 10 hours at night. The high conversion rate also means they'll hold up through an entire season without needing a battery replacement.
How do I install them? Will I need any tools?
Installation is quick and easy. Each light comes with both a screw set and adhesive, so you can mount them whichever way suits your surface best. There are no troublesome wires or extra accessories to deal with, so you can have them up in just a few minutes.
Where can I use them around my place?
They're a great fit for illuminating steps, stairs, decks, patios, fences and pathways. As well as adding a nice decorative touch, they help provide safe footing and visibility for moving around your place at night.
How quickly do I get my lights after I order?
Once you have placed an order, our team will carefully package your lights and ship them within 24-48 hours. To speed up delivery if your order contains different types of lights, you may sometimes receive them separately so we can get them to you as fast as possible.
Your lights will be sent via Royal Mail, and then they should be safely in your patiently waiting hands within 3-7 business days.
As soon as your order is sent you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us complete with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.
How much do I pay for shipping?
All orders include FREE and fast delivery UK-wide, no matter how many lights you order.
How do I track my order?
After we pass your order to Royal Mail, we will send you a shipping confirmation email which will have a ‘Track Order’ button. This will take you directly to the Royal Mail site so you can follow the live tracking updates!
Haven’t received your shipping confirmation email yet? Check your spam folder too (it may have ended up there).
If I don't like the lights, can I return them?
Sadly, we know that sometimes our SolaGarden lights are just not quite the right fit for some people. You can certainly return your lights to us for a full refund, provided it is returned within 100 days.
*Please note: Not all items are eligible for return. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and / or at checkout. All SolaGarden lights must be returned in as new condition, with any tags and the original box.

Do I have to pay for a return?
